KECC is an Eye Hospital started by like minded professionals. The promoters include 4 Eye specialists with over 20 to 40 years of expertise in Clinical Ophthalmology and hospital administration and a Hospital Consultant who has set up over 30 hospitals in India ranging from small polyclinics to Medical Colleges.

KECC is a comprehensive Eye Hospital in Aluva to impart affordable yet high quality eye care to people in all walks of life. In the first phase we intend to have medical and surgical facilities for diagnosis and treatment of most of the common eye diseases like cataract, glaucoma, squint, diabetic retinopathy, vascular occlusions of the eye and oculoplastic conditions. A fully fledged optical unit and community outreach activities will be available.

Dr S. Sasikumar MS;DO;PGDHHM

Ophthalmic surgeon with over 23 years of experience. In addition to a Masters degree in Ophthalmology holds a PG diploma in hospital management. Does Keyhole cataract surgeries(Phacoemulsification), Glaucoma and Squint surgeries along with other routine anterior segment operations. Was HOD of ophthalmic department of MOSC Medical college for 9 years and was Senior consultant and Med Supdt of Chaithanya Eye hospital Ernakulam for 12 years.

Dr. Thomas Cherian M.S. (Ophthalmology)

Ophthalmologist with 25 years experience. Did Fellowship in Retina & Vitreous from the prestigious L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. Has been working at Little Flower Hospital, Angamaly for the last 23 years, of which, 8 years as Head of the Department of Ophthalmology. Presently, chief of Retina & Vitreous Service in the same institution. Winner of Ben Gullison award for leadership abilities from Operation Eyesight Universal, a Canadian NGO in eyecare. Now a board member of Vision 2020 India.

Dr. N. Radhakrishnan

Anterior segment surgeon with over 40 years of experience in Government and Private sector. Trained in Contact lens and ocular prosthesis at Moorefield's Eye Hospital, London. Retired as Dy Director of Health Services. Presently actively involved in Eye Banking services and with IMA Blood Bank, Aluva.

Dr. Jayaprasad Bhaskaran: MS,DO,DNB,FAICO

Opthalmic Surgeon with over 30 years of experience, In addition to masters degree in ophthalmology,is a Fellow member of All India Collegium of Ophthalmology. Is the promoter and director of Amardeep Diya Eye Care Private Limited and Amardeep Health Vision Private Limited, having units in Trivandrum and Kollam.Also an academician having presented papers in national and International conferences.

Dr. Surya Joseph MS(Ophth)

Ophthalmologist with 8 years experience. Did Fellowship in PHACO & REFRACTIVE SURGERY from LIONS EYE SUPERSPECIALITY HOSPITAL ,BANGALORE . Has a Short term Phacoemulcification Fellowship from Nethradhamma Eye Hospital , Bangalore. Have been working at Kochi eye care center for last 3year.
